The Perfumery Intensive-

Welcome to the world of fragrance.

Starting at

$1574

Do you have a love for fragrances and want to learn more?

You may have looked around at classes offered everywhere from Los Angeles to Italy. Now, you found us!

In Columbus, Ohio!

We are glad you did.

The amount of information, correct or otherwise, that is on the internet is enough to make anyone feel overwhelmed. Worse yet, it can make people feel confident enough to jump in and spend a lot of money on materials they may never use.

Let’s break through the noise.

Whether you are in it for exploration and a creative outlet, or plan to make this your business; you don’t have to go to a big perfumery school or apprentice at a fragrance house to work with perfumery.

With us, you will learn:

The most important aspects of perfumery

  • SAFETY ( I simply cannot stress this enough)

  • Nose Training (Olfactory or scent memory training)

  • Diluting Ingredients

  • Building Accords

  • Formula Journals

and so much more…

This 3-day course will give you the knowledge you need to begin your journey into professional perfumery.

Meet like-minded people, get valuable support, and express your creativity in new ways.

What to Expect

  • We blend lectures with scent activities and hands-on experience to create memorable experiences that will stick with you.

  • Led by experienced guides who know how to hold space, encourage participation, and keep things moving with purpose.

Our job is not to run through the information and send you home. It is to slow down when needed, answer questions, and ensure that each student feels respected and accommodated.

  • Fragrance houses describe perfumes in so many ways that you never know what you are truly smelling. We will show you what all of these buzz words mean and how to be transparent with your customers to build trust and loyalty.

  • You will receive a selection of finished and unfinished formulas for your practice in class and at home.

The last day is reserved for active perfume making.

  • This class style of perfumery is the standard perfumery method will we use in this course.

  • We will discuss, in-depth, the different perfumery materials available and what makes them unique. You will receive a list of recommended materials and have time to practice with some of our favorites!

  • The most important part of any art form that uses concentrated materials is learning how to use them safety and efficiently. We will discuss proper dilution techniques, IFRA and SDS guidelines, and even shipping protocols.

  • Also called “briefs” in perfumery, scent stories are the imagery and emotions that are evoked when experiencing a fragrance. This is the first step in creating a new scent.

  • This is not too much for you. Every step we take is intended to build knowledge and give you the foundation you need to create beautiful fragrances. You will be amazed at how much you will learn.
